Smoothie Time

I am a big believer that what you have to eat in the morning dictates how you feel. Having a sensitive stomach can make for a rough day sitting in the office for 8 hours, so why not give your stomach a little love. I enjoy indulging in a smoothie regardless if it is hot or cold outside. The great part about smoothies in there are a variety of ways to make them and get many of the nutrients you need each morning.  My favorite smoothie is a spin off of one called ‘dreamsicle’, I had it at this amazing place in Indianapolis called Natural Born Juicers.  My fiance and I decided to try it at home and were quite satisfied.

The ingredients consist of:

-1 Banana

-1 Orange

-A decent pour of fresh/local Honey( Helps with Seasonal Allergies)

-1 Mango Orange Juice

-Fresh Thyme Vitamin C Powder (Throw in this to Help a healthy Immune System)

-A little Shake of Matcha (For some Energy)

Mix In Blender when all ingredients are put in.   I put mine in mason jars & this makes about 2/3 smoothies.

This is, to me, the best tasting smoothie. It settles my stomach and keeps me full before a morning snack. Plus it taste amazing! If you have a little extra time in the morning, try it out and see how it makes you feel.
